After a stroke, the brain activates repair processes to heal damaged tissue. New research suggests glioma cells can take advantage of those same changes to grow and spread. Researchers identified changes in nearby brain cells that helped drive tumor progression, pointing to biological pathways that could become targets for future treatments.
