‘STRIKE IRAN, FACE CONSEQUENCES’: Tehran Warns Trump Of Big Revenge If US Launches New Strike - Times of India Videos
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has warned that Tehran is prepared to respond to any new attack with a reaction “beyond their imagination.” Speaking in Tehran, Qalibaf said Iran was “not terrified” by threats of a large-scale war and would defend its territorial integrity, rights and interests. His remarks come amid renewed tensions and discussion of the possibility of further US military action against Iran. Qalibaf also attacked Washington’s conduct, saying American claims would carry no credibility for Tehran unless the United States changed what he described as its “bullying and greedy” behaviour and compensated for breached commitments. The warning reflects Tehran’s stated deterrence position: threats of another confrontation, Qalibaf said, will not force Iran to retreat. Instead, he warned that any fresh attack would bring a response Iran says its adversaries are not anticipating.
