Just bought a 1965 Star Bass (serial 30498, dated 65G. Had plenty of mods over the years, wrong pickups, wrong tuning pegs, wrong tail piece... but 1 thing puzzles me. The neck has been glued on and there is no sign that there ever was a neck plate or a pocket. anyone got any ideas what is going on here? 20260902_220556.jpg
