Uttarakhand Vigilance Nabs ASI In Bribery Sting | Rediff-TV | Rediff.com
A woman Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, was arrested by the Vigilance Department on Saturday for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 to settle a dispute. The ASI, identified as Sonia, was caught red-handed after a complaint was verified, and a case has been registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
