Merged but neglected: Solan villagers boycott Himachal MC elections - The Tribune
Residents from Kathar, Bawra and Basal villages in Solan have decided to boycott the upcoming Municipal Corporation (MC) elections, protesting against their inclusion in the civic body in 2020. Around 350 villagers have announced that they will stay away from voting until their long-pending demand of restoring their rural status is addressed.
