AITC leader Abhishek Banerjee has urged the Lok Sabha Speaker to expedite disqualification petitions. These petitions concern twenty Members of Parliament elected on the AITC ticket. The MPs have now aligned themselves with the unrecognized NCPI political formation. This action follows the invitation of these MPs to an all-party meeting. A meeting between NCPI MPs and WB CM Adhikari is scheduled for tomorrow.
