A Delhi court has convicted a man, Girdhari Lal, for insulting a woman's modesty with the sexually-derogatory remark 'Kaun se wale papa?'. The court ruled that the comment, made in response to the woman pacifying her child, insinuated infidelity and questioned the child's paternity, thus affronting her dignity and leading to a conviction under IPC section 509.
