Mumbai corporators have questioned the BMC’s spending of around Rs 15 crore on renovating 17 historic pyaus, several of which reportedly remain dry. They have demanded a citywide survey, restored water supply and clear departmental responsibility. The Standing Committee has asked civic officials to submit detailed information at its next meeting.
