Bombay HC Accepts NSEL Defaulter Arun Sharma's Unconditional Apology In Contempt Case After ₹1 Lakh Payment
The Bombay High Court accepted the unconditional apology of Arun Kumar Sharma of Lotus Refineries in a contempt case after he paid Rs 1 lakh to NSEL in compliance with an earlier court order. The court held that Sharma had purged the contempt by complying with the July 2024 order and disposed of the petition despite NSEL seeking imprisonment.
