Mumbai Consumer Commission Orders SpiceJet To Refund ₹1,614, Pay ₹10,000 Over Flight Schedule Change
The Mumbai Suburban Consumer Commission directed SpiceJet to refund ₹1,614 to a passenger who missed a 2016 flight after its departure was preponed from 10.45 pm to 8.45 pm. The airline must also pay ₹5,000 each for litigation costs and mental harassment after failing to show when the schedule-change SMS was received.
