I have adored the past week in London. Last Friday night, the Standard threw a fabulous fashion week party at the newly launched Beefbar at Dear Jackie, on Broadwick Street, where DJ (and Standard columnist) Jodie Harsh got stars including Ava Kalitowski, Adot Gak and Yomi Adegoke dancing. On the catwalk itself, M&S and McQueen were just as fabulous as we predicted in last week’s issue, there was a lot of purple and Central Cee made a surprise appearance on the Burberry catwalk. At the Corner Shop at 180 Strand — LFW’s unofficial hangout zone — I got chatting to a Parisian in town for the shows, who was wildly jealous about London’s free museums and galleries.
