The Ram Mandir donation controversy has entered a crucial phase after an FIR was registered against eight accused based on the preliminary findings of a Special Investigation Team. The case, filed on the complaint of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, includes allegations of criminal breach of trust, cheating and conspiracy. The SIT was constituted by the Uttar Pradesh government following claims of donation misappropriation. With the investigation now underway, authorities are expected to make further arrests and expand the probe.
