About Copenhagen Atomics
At Copenhagen Atomics, we believe that abundant, reliable and affordable energy is fundamental to human progress.
Since 2014, we have been developing a new generation of nuclear energy technology based on thorium molten salt reactors. Our ambition is to industrialize nuclear energy through mass manufacturing, standardized reactor systems and a fundamentally different approach to deployment and economics.
Copenhagen Atomics is approaching 100 employees across Denmark and Switzerland. As we enter the next phase of our growth, we are expanding our investor relations and capital-raising activities from Zug, Switzerland.
We are looking for an ambitious Investor Relations Associate who wants to build a career at the intersection of technology, investment and energy.
About the role
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships and creating new opportunities.
You will work closely with our senior Investor Relations team and have direct exposure to the CEO and other members of Copenhagen Atomics' leadership.
A major part of your role will be identifying and establishing relationships with prospective investors — including entrepreneurs, family offices, private investors, venture capital firms and others interested in deep technology and energy.
You will help open the door.
Once an investor relationship reaches a more advanced stage, senior members of our team will normally take responsibility for due diligence, negotiations and closing.
This makes the position particularly suitable for an ambitious person early in their career who wants to develop a strong international network and learn how significant private technology investments are originated and executed.
What you will do
Who we are looking for
We care more about ability, energy and potential than the number of years on your CV.
You may have experience from investment, finance, investor relations, venture capital, consulting, business development or sales — but exceptional candidates at an earlier stage of their career are also encouraged to apply.
We expect that you:
A university degree can be helpful, but we are more interested in what you can contribute than in a particular educational background.
Previous nuclear experience is not required.
The person
Copenhagen Atomics has an entrepreneurial culture with ambitious technical and commercial goals. We value people who think independently, take responsibility, communicate openly and act with integrity.
For this position, personality matters.
You should genuinely enjoy meeting people — whether that means picking up the phone, introducing yourself at an event or contacting someone you have never met before.
Successful investor relations is built on credibility and trust. We are looking for someone who can be enthusiastic without exaggerating, persistent without being aggressive and confident while remaining curious.
What you can expect
This role offers unusual exposure for someone relatively early in their career. You will work closely with senior management, meet experienced investors and entrepreneurs, learn how significant private financing rounds are executed and build an international professional network.
For someone who performs exceptionally well, there will be significant opportunities for increased responsibility as Copenhagen Atomics and our Zug organization grow.
