A 12-year-old student from Connecticut is drawing attention for tackling one of the world's biggest environmental challenges with an innovative science project. According to the Young Scientist Lab, Raji Doshi designed a project that proposes using algae and natural calcium (aragonite) buffers to help reduce CO₂-driven ocean acidification.
