Teachers’ Day celebrations in Madhya Pradesh come amid discontent among nearly two lakh educators. Around one lakh Guest Teachers are demanding regularisation, while over one lakh serving teachers oppose the mandatory TET requirement. Recruitment aspirants are separately protesting over vacancies, counselling, court delays, document verification and pending appointment orders.
