To empower panchayats, gram yojana gets nod | India News - The Times of India
Union Cabinet chaired by PM Modi on Wednesday approved Pradhan Mantri Viksit Gram Swaraj Yojana (PM VGSY), which will annually strengthen the governance capabilities of around 32 lakh elected representatives, along with panchayat functionaries and other stakeholders, through capacity building and digital handholding, to enable holistic planning, resource management and progress towards locally relevant Sustainable Development Goals.
