Zutaten:
- 6 cups sliced peaches
- 2 cups blackberries
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
- 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 1 1/4 cups unsalted butter (frozen and cut into cubes)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup old fashioned oats (divided)
- 1 cup flour
- Vanilla ice cream to serve
Arbeitsschritte:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, blackberries, brown sugar, cornstarch, orange zest, and orange juice. Toss until evenly coated. Transfer to a large oven-safe skillet or 9x13 baking dish and sprinkle with the pinch of kosher salt.
- In a food processor, combine the frozen butter, brown sugar, 3/4 cup of the oats, and the flour. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse, pea-sized crumbles with visible chunks of butter throughout. Do not over-process.
- Transfer the topping to a bowl and stir in the remaining 1/4 cup of oats by hand. Scatter the topping evenly over the fruit filling.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until the topping is deeply golden brown and the fruit filling is bubbling at the edges. If the topping is browning too quickly, tent loosely with foil for the last 10 to 15 minutes. Let the crisp rest for 10 to 15 minutes before serving. Scoop into bowls and top with heaping scoops of vanilla ice cream. Serve immediately.
