An Indore family lost ₹31,200 after a cyber fraudster posing as a spiritual leader allegedly predicted that their 25-year-old son would die from a snakebite unless rituals were performed. The accused repeatedly demanded money through UPI, even claiming a “powerful snake” had attacked during the ritual. Khajrana police are investigating.
