More than 130 people are reported missing after a ferry capsized in Indonesia's Java Sea. The vessel was carrying more than 240 people when its captain reported rough seas and waves reaching around three metres before sending a distress call saying the ferry was listing. Authorities later received reports that the vessel had overturned and sunk. Rescuers have so far saved 107 people and recovered six bodies, while around 130 passengers and crew remain missing. Search teams involving multiple vessels, a navy ship and a helicopter are continuing operations around the ferry’s last known position.
