The Chief Executive Officer of Obuasi Beverages Company Limited, Dr Amo Collins, has donated GH¢120,000 towards the emergency brain surgery of 33-year-old Edmond Benefo, who has been diagnosed with a brain tumour. The contribution, equivalent to US$10,000, covers half of the US$20,000 required for Edmond's medical treatment and surgery in India. Edmond's health challenges reportedly began with complaints of eye problems, which progressively worsened before medical examinations revealed a brain tumour requiring urgent surgical intervention.
