THE Philippines’ greatest competitive advantage may be its people, particularly its young and increasingly capable workforce. According to the Philippine Statistics Authority’s 2024 census, Filipinos aged 15 to 30 number 32.40 million, or 28.8 percent of the household population. Another 74.95 million, or 66.7 percent, are within the working-age population. These figures are more than demographics. They represent an enormous reservoir of talent, creativity and potential.
