MPCB Chairman Siddhesh Kadam said guidelines are in place to control noise and water pollution during Ganeshotsav. He stated that Dolby systems remain banned in Maharashtra and loudspeaker rules must be followed. Kadam also highlighted a rise in artificial pond immersions and urged citizens to adopt eco-friendly celebrations by avoiding PoP idols and plastic decorations.
