The CBI has arrested Prabhu Dayal for allegedly posing as a Department of Animal Husbandry official and demanding bribes from applicants seeking loans under the AHIDF scheme. He allegedly sought 2% of loan amounts, routed payments through UPI, and evaded arrest for nearly three weeks. Investigators tracked him using digital evidence, including call records, bank accounts and IP addresses.
