Youth Congress leaders protested outside Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, demanding an end to VIP privileges and greater transparency in darshan arrangements. The memorandum sought uniform rules for all devotees, publication of Bhasma Aarti permit lists, action against alleged pass black marketing and strict enforcement of mobile phone restrictions.
