Nearly 5,000 Bhopal Municipal Corporation files are reportedly stalled after the audit section sought a “Passed for Payment” seal before clearance, holding up vendor payments worth crores. The accounts section reportedly does not have the required seal. Vendors facing dues pending for eight to 10 months have begun halting supplies and fresh work.
