BJP accuses Punjab Govt of running ‘graft syndicate’; smear campaign, says AAP - The Tribune
The BJP on Thursday accused the AAP government in Punjab of running an alleged “corruption syndicate” involving intermediaries to settle cases of rape and other offences, with national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari claiming that bribes of up to Rs 5 crore were sought in at least one case. Dismissing the charge, AAPs Punjab media in-charge Baltej Pannu accused the BJP and the SAD of resorting to personal attacks and character assassination because they had no answer to the work of the Bhagwant Mann government.
