Congress Workers Storm Election Office In MP’s Ujjain, Burn CEC Gyanesh Kumar’s Effigy
Congress workers staged a protest in Ujjain demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation amid the ongoing row over electoral rolls. Protesters marched from Tarantal Square to the election office at Kothi, removed barricades and entered its premises. They also burnt an effigy of the CEC and raised allegations of “vote theft.”
