Gabby Goodwins entrepreneurial journey began when she was 5 years old and repeatedly returned from school without her hair barrettes. After her mother, Rozalynn, shared her frustration on social media, the familys pastor suggested creating barrettes that would not get lost. Gabby continued asking to begin a science project, and she and her mother eventually developed GaBBY Bows, a double-sided barrette, after failing to find a suitable product. Their efforts grew into a business involving products, patents, and trademarks. Gabby also teaches girls and moms about starting businesses.
