Kalachowki Police arrested two suspected thieves after multiple theft complaints emerged during Lalbaug Ganeshotsav on September 14. Police said devotees reported stolen gold jewellery, cash and mobile phones from crowded darshan queues. The accused were allegedly caught by devotees after a security guard reported his phone and cash theft. Police are probing possible links to other cases.
