A number of years ago we had spectacular hoar frost which lasted for a number of days. This led to spectacular coverings on the trees in the UW Arboretum in Madison, WI. Hoar frosts form when the frost (ice) precipitates directly from the water vapor in the atmosphere.. Available in 3 sizes - 7x10,10.5x14.5,16x22
