US President Donald Trump has agreed to grant an immediate visa to the mother of 15-year-old Javits Frimpong, who was fatally shot while walking to school in New York City's Bronx neighbourhood, Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced on Saturday. Mamdani said he had spoken to Trump over the phone and the president had agreed to allow Frimpong's mother to travel to the US to say goodbye to her son in person.
