The BMC General Body approved the ‘Mayor Gen Next Civic Fellows’ programme to involve Mumbai youth in civic administration and monitoring. Under the six-month pilot, 50 fellows across 10 wards will track issues like potholes, waste management and public transport through digital reports. Selected participants will receive training, a stipend and certificates after completing the programme.
