Bhopal’s Ambedkar Setu Develops Defects Again; PWD To Recover Entire Repair Cost From Contractor
The PWD will recover the entire cost of repairing Bhopal’s Ambedkar Setu, along with 20% compensation, from contractor VKSC Infra Projects Limited. Officials detected bearing-coat and rainwater drainage problems during the monsoon. The High Court has stayed a fresh Rs 4.69-crore tender and directed the contractor to rectify the shortcomings.
