A farmer was found dead inside a private finance company's office in Nanded, Maharashtra, with his family alleging he was forcibly taken, confined, and assaulted over a disputed loan amount. Police have detained three individuals and registered a case of murder, kidnapping, and wrongful confinement. A similar case of loan recovery harassment has also emerged in the area, prompting the Nanded Superintendent of Police to urge farmers to report such incidents.
