This is a big hit to Meta. But there’s another lesson here—the big social media platforms are now losing every jury trial. Each lost court battle invites more litigation, so these things tend to spiral out of control. Perhaps they should restrain their zeal for surveillance, manipulation and monetization of the people they pretend to serve.
