Maharashtra SHRC Gives Taloja Prison Authorities 2 More Weeks To Explain Frisking, CCTV And Cooking Concerns
The Maharashtra SHRC granted Taloja Central Prison authorities two more weeks to explain concerns over undertrial frisking practices, CCTV surveillance, and inmate cooking arrangements. The commission observed that “thorough search” cannot justify unclothing prisoners and sought details of corrective measures proposed by prison authorities.
