Uddhav Thackeray Seeks Disqualification Of 6 Rebel MPs, Claims 'Operation Devendra' Targets Fadnavis - Times of India Videos
Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has called for the immediate disqualification of six rebel Lok Sabha MPs who recently defected to the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena. Speaking at a rally in Parbhani, Uddhav urged Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to enforce anti-defection laws while alleging that the defections are part of a wider political strategy called "Operation Devendra" to sideline Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He also targeted Eknath Shinde, questioned the delay in the Supreme Court hearing on the Shiv Sena split, and accused the BJP of betraying the people's mandate.
