Maharashtra has formed two state-level committees to monitor soil and water conservation works in drought-affected areas. The panels will oversee the Water Cup initiative and NGO-led projects, using GIS technology, satellite imagery and online dashboards. The executive committee will meet monthly to review progress and address implementation issues.
