Some members and sympathisers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Kwabre East Constituency have raised concerns over alleged security threats ahead of the constituency executive elections scheduled for Saturday, October 25. The members say the prevailing atmosphere raises concerns about whether the polls can be conducted peacefully and credibly. They have questioned the decision by the Constituency Election Committee to hold the election at the Islamic Hall at Aboaso-Zongo, citing what they describe as security risks based on information gathered locally.
