Now, Spain auction of Chandigarh heritage item called off as MEA steps in - The Tribune
The auction of a Pierre Jeanneret-designed Chandigarh heritage chair scheduled at Setdart Auction House in Barcelona, Spain, for July 22 has been called off following India’s diplomatic intervention. It is the second overseas auction of UT heritage furniture to be stalled within a month, after the Paris breakthrough on June 25.
