West Bengal is preparing to create a land bank from closed Central PSUs, State PSUs, and sick industries. Several parcels of land have been identified, but challenges include legal issues and encroachments. An industrial policy meeting was conducted by a group of ministers led by the industry department. The strategic blueprint, named Project BhoomiShakti, aims to promote investment-ready industrial land.
