India FTA by year end, says European Commission president | India News - The Times of India
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had bilateral meetings with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and also European Union leaders Ursula von der Leyen and Antonio Costa on the margins of the G7 summit, taking stock of recent progress in ties and welcoming the understanding reached between the US and Iran in West Asia for peace. European Commission President Von der Leyen said after the meeting that the India-EU FTA would be signed by the end of this year.
