Matt Minton is a freelance journalist with bylines in Variety, The Progressive, Us Weekly and Next Best Picture. They recently finished up a six-month reporting internship at Variety, where they honed in on covering international films, awards season, scripted TV and LGBTQ+ trends in media. Matt is an Ithaca College graduate and voting member of GALECA, the Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics.
