Bombay HC Warns Of Drastic Orders Over Kanjurmarg Dumping Ground, Questions Corporators’ Role In Keeping Wards Clean
The Bombay High Court warned of drastic orders if foul smell and pollution from the Kanjurmarg dumping ground remain uncontrolled. It questioned corporators over ward cleanliness and directed the BMC chief to examine decentralised waste segregation, conduct ward-wise garbage audits and take action against negligent ward officers.
