Despite decades of progress, questions remain about how to prevent, diagnose, treat, and cure Parkinson’s disease and related parkinsonisms—including multiple system atrophy, progressive supranuclear palsy, corticobasal degeneration, and Lewy body dementias—and support those affected. This workshop series will convene researchers, people living with Parkinson’s and related disorders, caregivers, federal agencies, industry, and other stakeholders to explore promising research, opportunities to improve care and services, and actions to accelerate progress. Discussions will help inform the National Plan to End Parkinson’s, being developed by the National Institutes of Health, and improve outcomes for people and families affected by these disorders.
