Conflicting accounts are emerging over an alleged attack on the Taiba power distribution station near Medina in Saudi Arabia. Saudi authorities have attributed the incident to Yemen’s Houthi movement, citing an investigation and debris reportedly recovered from a drone. The Houthis have denied targeting the facility or being responsible. Claims that the incident was connected to the Prophet’s Mosque have also circulated, although available descriptions place the power facility away from the religious site. With responsibility disputed, questions remain over the circumstances of the reported attack and the evidence supporting the competing claims.
