Mumbai: BMC General Body Approves OC Amnesty Scheme For Buildings Without Occupation Certificates
The BMC General Body has approved an OC Amnesty Scheme for eligible occupied buildings lacking Occupation Certificates. The scheme covers flats up to 80 sq m in buildings constructed between 1991 and November 2016, with schools and hospitals also eligible. Opposition corporators raised concerns over developers’ responsibility and fire safety.
