Zutaten:
- 2 cups finely crushed vanilla wafer cookies
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1 cup powdered sugar (plus extra for rolling)
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
- Pinch of salt
- Melted semi-sweet chocolate
- Finely chopped pecans
- Cocoa powder
Arbeitsschritte:
- In a large bowl, combine the crushed vanilla wafers, chopped pecans, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Stir in the corn syrup, bourbon, and maple syrup until the mixture becomes evenly moist and holds together when pressed.
- Cover and chill the mixture for about 30 minutes to make rolling easier.
- Scoop out small portions and roll into 1-inch balls.
- Roll each ball in powdered sugar, or dip them in melted chocolate for a richer finish.
- Place on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until firm.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for the best flavor.
