Bombay HC Seeks Documents Used By Alleged Bangladeshi Infiltrator To Obtain Aadhaar
The Bombay High Court has directed UIDAI to submit within two weeks the records allegedly used by Bakaar Hasan Shaikh, a Bangladeshi national, to obtain an Aadhaar card fraudulently. Acting on an ATS petition, the court raised concerns over foreign nationals allegedly using forged identity documents to pose as Indian citizens and stressed the need for a time-bound investigation.
