NSA Ajit Doval recalled a challenging episode from his early career when operatives sent across the border were captured and held in Chinese custody, saying he feared the incident would end his career. Speaking at IIT Roorkees convocation, Doval said an inquiry later found him not at fault and attributed the incident to defects in sketches and maps provided by headquarters. He also highlighted the opportunities available to todays youth, saying technology would be a key driver of future growth and progress.
